Josh Hurst is a critic, journalist, and fan. He has been writing about music, film, art, faith, and culture since 2000. His critical practice has appeared in Christianity Today, IMAGE Journal, Relevant, FLOOD, The Nashville Scene, True Tunes, Rise Up Daily, and Looking Closer with Jeffrey Overstreet. In addition, Josh is a full-time writer and editor for Grammar Chic, Inc., and a regular writer and playlist compiler for Apple Music.

Josh lives and writes in the greatest city in the world, Knoxville, TN. He is married to Kati and the father to three boys: Henry, Dylan, and Wyatt. The Hursts are members of Redeemer Church of Knoxville, frequent trekkers through the Smokey Mountains, avid readers, donut enthusiasts, and board gamers. They are devotees of The And Campaign.
