At FLOOD, I reviewed the new collaboration between Andrew Bird and Jimbo Mathus, a modest and old-timey affair called These 13. I wouldn’t call it my favorite project bearing Bird’s name, but it’s certainly worthwhile, if only to hear his obvious enthusiasm and his natural rapport with Mathus.
